“Sanford is unique in that he can fairly seamlessly connect with both bride and groom. Some of the coordinators we looked at and spoke to were almost entirely focused on me, as the bride. Because Sanford brings the perspective and experience of being a groom, I think my husband was much more involved and connected to the planning process than he might have been with a female planner, which made it a wonderful shared experience. I also felt like I could ALWAYS call Sanford if I was stressed about something (even if it was irrational) and he would instantly take away that stress by figuring out a solution. I truly enjoyed the planning process and it never felt like the nightmare that some friends have described it as. I think our wedding was a perfect reflection of us as a couple, and everyone had an incredibly good time - which was our primary goal.

“Our situation was probably a bit different than many others who use a wedding coordinator/planner. We had previous engaged a wedding venue that provided many of the wedding planning services we hoped for, and therefore we were not originally intending to work with a wedding planner at all. However, our venue backed out of our contract about 3 months prior to our wedding date, and we found ourselves with no venue, no lodging, no food, nothing! (This venue provided everything, sort of a one-stop deal.) This venue felt obligated to help us make an alternate plan, and recommended Sanford Marshall to us.
Everything that was in Sanford’s control went smoothly. We had some complicated transportation logistics (a one-way boat trip, shuttles, etc.), and there were no issues at all. All set up was on time and as expected. We were very happy with the services Sanford provided. He was very easy to talk to, very responsive to our calls and questions, and worked quickly to help bail us out of our crisis.”
